First Full Week of May, Switzerland’s Tour of Romandie, Spain’s Vuelta Espana Feminina

Hello, Everyone:

I hope you all are enjoying May so far. The weather continues to be unpredictable and highly mutable where I live in the Midwest. Therefore, it hasn’t been overly conducive for bike rides.

April 28th to May 3rd, the Tour of Romandie took place in Switzerland, an early season race consisting of six stages. Tadaj Pogacar dominated the race and added Romandie to his growing bag of palmares. This race is considered a warm-up for the grand tours, specifically the Giro d’Italia and Le Tour de France.

Over on the women’s side of the sport, the Vuelta Espana Femenina is currently taking place in Spain. It is also a race that has seven stages. It started on May 3rd and runs until May 9th.

With the Tour of Romandie in mind, enjoy some pictures of Switzerland below. I hope you all have a sweet and productive week. Cheers!
