In The Bike Shop: A Ride Through Joshua Tree National Park

Joshua Tree National Park is 40 miles from Palm Springs, CA, a great vacation destination and site of the Coachella Festival if music is something you enjoy. There’s a 15-mile park road (30 miles out and back) that runs the length of the park that starts at the visitor center with great views of Joshua Trees, which are members of the yucca family, and rock formations. It is mostly a moderate to easy ride with a couple short, hard climbs on very low traffic roads.

  1. Hi there, thanks for your comment. I don’t know where you are, but yes, very different than many places. Joshua Tree is a beautiful and unique place and excellent for cycling. I hope you get to experience someday soon.
