VeloViews for Friday June 11, 2021 – Arches National Park, Moab, UT (part 1)

To me, one of the most unique things about America is its National Parks. One could literally spend a lifetime just exploring all of them and the riches they offer. Moab, Utah is an excellent place to start that journey, and if you are bicyclist, it’s even better.

While Moab is considered the ultimate mountain biking destination, a road rider can also benefit. Here are some picture I took while riding the main road through Arches, which is about 50 miles round trip. Moab itself is a small town, so I was able to ride to Arches from my hotel. And because I was on my bike, I got free admittance. I did this ride in the mid 2000s, so I’m not sure if that has changed. Come back next for photos from Canyonlands, which is also not far from Moab. Enjoy the photos!
