Hello Everyone:
Welcome to another Monday and the last week of October. This year has just flown past faster than Pogacar on a climb. The end of October also means the end of daylight saving time here in the United States, which means it will be getting darker even earlier starting next week.
While the weather is still relatively mild, daylight saving time ruins the chance to get in rides if you don’t like riding in the dark. I feel riding a bike on public roads at night is even more dangerous than during the day.
However, I understand that some cyclists among us are not bothered by night riding, or may not have a choice if they are bicycle commuters.
For the rest of us who do have a choice but can only break away from the demands of the day at its later point, trainer rides will become the prominent choice for doing some riding during the late fall and winter months.
Maybe you’ve already been doing some trainer rides, or you ride the trainer off and on during the outside riding period of spring and summer? Whatever your week brings, whether some outside rides or trainer rides, I wish you all the best.
